Edith G. Headlee
Edith Grace Headlee, 61, of Mt. Morris, died at 11 a.m. Sunday, October 18, 1970, in Greene County Memorial Hospital. She had not been in the best of health for some time.
She was born March 1, 1909, in Wayne Township near Brock, a daughter of Francis Marion and Laura South Headlee.
Miss Headlee had spent most of her life in Whiteley Township. For the past 20 years she has made her home with her sister, Mrs. Janie Renner, of Mt. Morris.
Miss Headlee was affiliated with the Mt. Morris Assembly of God Church and was a member of the Women's Adult Class of the Sunday School.
Surviving are two sisters: Mrs. Janie Renner, of Mt. Morris, and Mrs. Oren (Mae) Eddy, of Pine Bank, R. D. 1; two brothers: Cecil Headlee, of Pine Bank, R. D. 1 and Homer Headlee, of Waynesburg, R. D. 4, and several nieces and nephews.
One sister, Faye Hoy, is deceased.
Funeral services were held Wednesday with burial in Fairview Cemetery.
