MRS. ELIZABETH L. HEADLEE Mrs. Elizabeth L. Headlee, 75, of Mt. Morris R. D. 1, died at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 1957, at her home after a long illness. Born Oct. 1, 1881, in Perry Township, she was a daughter of the late John Delford Fox and Sarah Lemley Fox. With the exception of 26 years as a resident of Morgantown, W. Va., she spent her entire life in the Mount Morris area. She is survived by her husband, Edward F. Headlee; two brothers, Leasure Fox of Carrollton, Ohio, and Earl Fox of Waynesburg R. D. 5, and several nieces and nephews. One brother and one sister are deceased. She was a member of the Shannon Run Methodist Church. HEADLEE - Friends of Mrs. Elizabeth L. Headlee of Mt. Morris R. D. 1, who died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 1957, are being received at the late residence where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, with Rev. Orville Pyle officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Church-Mariner Funeral Home, Waynesburg, in charge. Democrat Messenger, September 5, 1957 (Greene County, PA)
