Harry G. Headlee, 75, of 1807 Pricilla Drive, Silver Spring, Md., formerly of Greene Co.,
died at 6 P.M. Saturday, June 20, 1981, in Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D. C.
He had been seriously ill for several days.
He was born July 19, 1905, in Perry Township near Brock, a son of Oscar and Hannah Mariner Headlee. Mr. Headlee spent his early life in the Brock area. He was a graduate of Waynesburg College and taught school in Aleppo Township. A silver Spring resident for several years, he owned and operated the Maryland Book exchange at the University of Maryland. Surviving are his wife, Ruth Kiger Headlee; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Houck of Lutherville, Md. and Carolyn Headlee of Silver Spring; one son, Phillip of College Park, Md.; four grandchildren; and one brother Alvie Headlee of Morgantown, W. Va. Three brothers, Charles, Russell and Ralph, are deceased. Services and burial will be held Wednesday in Silver Spring. The Hines and Renaldi Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
