Homer Headlee, 76, of Waynesburg R.D. 4, died unexpectedly at 1:30 p.m.Saturday, May 7, 1983, in Springfield General Hospital, Springfield, Mo. after becoming ill during his grandson's graduation ceremony at Evangel College.

He was born May 23, 1906, in Perry Township near Brock to Francis Marion and Laura South Headlee. His entire life was spent in Greene County and he was a member of the Brave Assembly of God Church.

An employee of the Columbia Gas Transmission Corp., he retired in May, 1971.

He was married December 7, 1929, to Roiene Caldwell, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Donald H. of Brave Star Route and Marion of Lancaster; a daughter, Mrs. James (Anna Mae) Lemley of Bethel Park; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Janie H. Renner of Mt. Morris Star Route and Mrs. May V. Eddy of Waynesburg.

Two sisters, Mrs. Faye Hoy and Mrs. Grace Headlee and a brother Cecil are deceased.
