James O. Headlee, 58, of Robersonville, N.C., formerly of Waynesburg, died unexpectedly at 8 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 1990, in Martin General Hospital, Williamston, N.C. Born February 1, 1932, in Waynesburg, he was a son of the late J. Carl and Beatrice Geraldine Orndoff Headlee. He had been a resident of North Carolina since 1943 and resided in Robersonville for the past five years. Mr. Headlee formerly was employed as a transmitter engineer and broadcast engineer, and was in avionics repair. At the time of his death, he was employed as a broadcast engineer with the Voice of America. Surviving are one brother, William O. Headlee of Syracuse, N.Y.
