Waynesburg, April 17, - Joseph K. Headley, aged 77 years, of Perry township,
died Sunday as a result of complications of disease. He was born July 19,
1845, spending his life as a farmer, and was a member of the Methodist
Episcopal church. His wife, formerly Mary Jane Dulaney, died Feb. 21, this
year. One son, P. L. Headley, of Waynesburg, and the following daughters
survive: Mrs. R. M. Keener and Mrs. A. J. Whitehill, of Brave; Mrs. Lozella
Blaker, of Amity; Mrs. George G. Eddy, of Morgantown, W. Va.; Mrs. R. M.
Headley, of Mt. Morris; Mrs. Charles G. Minor, of Mt. Morris, R. D. 1, and
Miss Lulu Headley, at home. The following brothers and sisters survive; D. L.
Headley, of Waynesburg; Mrs. W. O. Headley, of East Waynesburg; Mrs. Emily
Lemley and Mrs. A. L. Dulaney, of Mt. Morris, and Mrs. E. L. Williams, of
California state.
Funeral services will be held at the Headley Home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and will be conducted Rev. C. L. Peacock, of Kirby, assisted by Mr. Headley's nephew, Rev. Harry Headley, of E???. Perry Township Farmer Dies After Long Illness Joseph K. Headlee, aged 76 years, one of the most widely known residents of Perry township, died at his home near Mt. Morris Sunday, April 16, after a lingering illness due to a complication of disease. Mr. Headlee was born July 19, 1845, and had spent all his life at farming and stock raising. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. His wife, Mary Jane Delaney, died Feb. 21. last. He is survived by one son, P. L. Headlee, of Waynesburg, and the following daughters; Mrs. R. M. Keener and Mrs. A. J. Whitehill, of Brave; Mrs. Lozella Blaker, of Amity, Mrs. George Eddy, of Morgantown, W. Va.; Mrs. Ross M. Headley, of Mt. Morris; Mrs. Charles G. Minor, of R. D. 1, Mt. Morris, and Miss Lulu Headlee, at home. One brother and four sisters also survive as follows; D. L. Headlee, of Waynesburg; Mrs. W. O. Headlee, of East Waynesburg; Mrs. Emily Lemley and Mrs. A. L. Delaney, of Mt. Morris, and Mrs. E. L. Williams, in the State of California. Funeral services were held at the Headlee home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and were conducted by Rev. C. L.
