Leo Headlee Obituary
1895

Leo, son of Thomas and Pleasant Headlee, died Saturday, Feb. 16, aged almost one year. He was a bright and promising little boy, but God plucks the fairest flowers for his own. He hath said, "Suffer little children to come unto Me for such is the kingdom of heaven." The little crib is now empty and his little prattle is no longer heard, but we submt to Him who doeth all things well. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Bedow. Interment in Mt. Olive cemetery.

We loved him, yes we loved him.
    But angels loved him more;
And they have sweetly called him
    To yonder shining shore.

The golden gates were opened,
    A gentle voice said come;
And with farewells unspoken,
    He calmly entered home.
