MARGARET ANN HEADLEE
Mrs. Margaret Ann Headlee, 95, of Mt. Morris, one of the oldest residents of southeastern Greene County, died at 5 a.m. Sunday, March 1, 1953, at her home. A daughter of the late Morris and Martha Jane Phillips Lemley, Mrs. Headlee was born Dec. 12, 1857 in Perry Township. SHe resided all her life in the Mt. Morris community. In 1880 she married William Headlee, who died 43 years ago. Mrs. Headlee was a member of the Shannon Run Methodist Church. Surviving are one son, Ross M. Headlee of Mt. Morris; one daughter, Mrs. Ray Fox of Mt. Morris, R. D.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Emma Hartley of Kirby. Preceding her in death in addition to her husband were one son, Arthur L. Headlee, and an infant daughter.
HEADLEE - Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Ann Headlee of Mt. Morris, who died Sunday, March 1, 1953, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, in the ShannoN Run Methodist Church, with the Rev. W. C. Long and the Rev. Harvey Nicholson officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ray Fox of Mt. Morris, R.
