MISS MYRTLE HEADLEE
Miss Myrtle Headlee, 75, of 773 East Greene Street, Waynesburg, died of a stroke at 10:35 p.m., Thursday, April 6, 1967, in the Greene County Memorial Hospital. She was born September 14, 1891, in Perry Township, a daughter of W. 0. and Margaret Headlee. Miss Headlee was a member of the First Methodist Church of Waynesburg, and a member of the Daughters of Ruth Sunday School Class, and formerly a member of the B.P.W. She taught school at West Waynesburg and worked at Pittsburgh during WWI for a British concern making war materials. She also worked in the Brice Kennedy Jewelry Store, the highways department and the Coca Cola Bottling Company, Waynesburg, for approximately 40 years. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. C. A. (Pearl) Atwell, Dunedin, Fla.; one brother, Glen HeadIee of Waynesburg, and several nieces and nephews. Services were held Monday with burial in Oakmont Cemetery.
