Miss Theresa O. Headlee

Miss Theresa O. Headlee, 58, a native of Greene County, died Friday, March 15, 1940, at the home of her sister, Miss Ella Headlee, of Columbus, Ohio. Miss Headlee had been an invalid for the last eight years, but she had been seriously ill for only two months, suffering from a heart ailment and complications.

A daughter of W. G. Headlee and Mary Jane Lemley Headlee, she was born October 16, 1881, in Perry Township and lived in Greene County until 20 years ago when she removed to Columbus. She is survived by five brothers and two sisters, namely: Jasper Headlee, of Toledo, Ohio; Oscar Headlee, of Spraggs; Eli Headlee, of Mt. Morris; Benson Headlee of Pataskla, Ohio; William W. Headlee, of Waynesburg; Miss Ella Headlee, of Columbus, Ohio, and Mrs. Walter Dulaney, of Mt. Morris. A brother, the Rev. David L. Headlee, of Homer City, died March 7, 1927.

The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Methodist Church at Mt. Morris.
