William F. Headlee Obituary

William F. Headlee, 53, of Waynesburg, R.D.2, died at 10:20 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 1976 following an illness for the past six weeks.

Mr. Headlee was born March 27, 1923, at Morgantown, W. Va., a son of Emma Dulaney Headlee of Creekside and the late Arthur L. Headlee.

He spent his entire life in the Waynesburg area and was affiliated with the United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the United States Army in the South Pacific Theater. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars 4793 and the James Farrell Post 330. For the past eight years he was employed by the Wellslee Coca-Cola Company of Waynesburg.

Surviving in addition to his mother are two sisters, Mrs. Paul K. (Eleanor) Phillips of Ford City and Mrs. Louise H. Isenberg of Kansas City, Mo.; also several nieces and nephews.

Waynesburg - William F. Headlee, 53, of RD 2, Waynesburg, died at 10:20 a.m. Thursday, after a six week long illness.

He was born March 27, 1923, at Morgantown, W. Va., son of Emma Dulaney Headlee and the late Arthur L. Headlee.

He had spent his entire life in the Waynesburg area, and was employed the last eight years in the Wellslee Coca Cola Plant in Waynesburg. He was a [sic] Army veteran of World War II seeing service in the South Pacific, a member of the VFW 4793 and James Farrel American Legion Post 330, and was affiliated with the United Methodist Church.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, who resides in Creek Side, are two sisters, Mrs. Paul K. (Eleanor) Phillips, Ford City, Mrs. Louise H. Isenberg, Kansas City, Mo., and several nieces and nephews.
