George W. Headley
George W. Headley, a prominent farmer of Morgan township, died Thursday, February 4, aged 58 years. His death was due to paralysis. About five years ago, Mr Headley was injured in a runaway accident, from which he never fully recovered. Mr. Headley was a son of Jesse Headley, deceased, of near Mt. Morris. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and always took and active part in all church work. For the past three years he had served the township as road supervisor. He had also held the office of township auditor. Besides his wife, he is survived by the following children: Mrs. Abraham Brewer, of Whiteley; Harmon Headley and Mrs. A. M. Yoders, of Castile, and Myra, Edna and Carrie, at home. The funeral services were held on Saturday at 10 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. J. C. McMinn. Interment in the Jefferson cemetery.
