Lawrence R. Headley, 84, of West Middletown, died at 11:13 p.m. Friday, June 19, 1992, in Washington Hospital. He was born Oct. 28, 1907, in Greene County, a son of John Sherman and Harriet Moore Headley. Mr. Headley worked as a blacksmith until his retirement in 1980. He lived in West Middletown since 1923. He was a member of West Middletown Christian Church. Mr. Headley was married to Helen Hughes, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Mary Headley of Pittsburgh; two sons, James "Doc" Headley of Avella R.D. 1 and John Headley of West Middletown; and one sister, Mrs. Susan Hunter of Follansbee, W. Va. Deceased are two sisters, Lillian Fox and Edna Jones; and one brother, Floyd Headley. Newspaper obituary, date and source unknown (Greene County, PA)
