Mrs. Sarah Ellen Headley Mrs. Sarah Ellen Headley, aged 76 years, 11 months and seven days, well known Perry Township resident, died Tuesday evening, March 15, 1939, at her home near Brock following a protracted illness. A daughter of the late Benjamin and Margaret Brock Kiger, she was born April 7, 1862, and was a lifelong resident of southeastern Greene County. She was the widow of David Headley. She is survived by three step-children: Ray Headley and Mrs. Ina Brock, of Brock, and Otley Headley, of Mt. Morris. She also leaves one brother, Morgan Kiger, of Mt. Morris, R. D. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Claughton Chapel M. E. Church with the Rev. Guy Benson, of Mt. Morris, officiating. Interment will be in the Kiger Cemetery. Friends will be received at the home of her step-daughter, Mrs. Ina Brock. Democrat Messenger, March 18, 1939 (Greene County, PA)
