Thomas M. Headley
Thomas Marion Headley, aged 76 years and six months, one of Greene County's prominent citizens, died at his home in Perry Township on Sunday, Oct. 28, 1934, at 7:30 p.m., of complications. Mr. Headley was the son of Ephraim and Maria Haines Headley and was born and reared on the farm on which hre died. He followed farming and stock raising. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Shannon Run. Surviving are his wife, Pleasant Brown Headley; five sons, Lansing, of Baltimore, Md.; Emanuel, of Plattsburgh, N.Y.; Paul, of Core, W. Va.; George, of Mt. Morris; Chester, at home; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The services will be held at his late home Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock to be followed by further services at the Olive M. E. Church at Pentress, W. Va., in charge of Rev. Mr. Sleeth. Interment will be in Olive Cemetery. Democrat Messenger, October 30, 1934 (Greene County, PA) |
