William E. Headley
William Ellsworth Headley, aged 76, well known resident of Perry Township, died at 2 p.m. yesterday, July 18, at his home near Mt. Morris. Death was due to a heart ailment and followed an illness of two months. A lifelong resident of Perry Township, Mr. Headley was born May 16, 1862, a son of Samuel H. and Nancy Steele Headley. He was a lifelong and active member of the Valley Chapel M. E. Church. Besides his wife, Ida Fox Headley, he leaves the following children: Rev. Floyd E. Headley, of McKees Rocks; Odie C. Headley, of Waynesburg, R. D. 3; Eskie Headley, of Spraggs, and Freda M. Headley, at home. There are nine grandchildren. Three brothers and two sisters also survive. They are: SHerman Headley, of West Middletown; David L. Headley, of Spraggs; F. M. Headley, of Kuhntown; Mrs. Caroline Headley, of Blacksville, W. Va., and Mrs. Lindsey Fox, of Mt. Morris.
