Helen Spragg Henderson, 91, of Waynesburg R.D.4, died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 1999, in Bialko's Rest Home, Waynesburg. She was born September 28, 1907, in Spraggs, a daughter of Otho and Anna Whitlatch Spragg. Mrs. Henderson spent her entire life in Greene County, where she was a member of Spraggs United Methodist Church. She was a 1926 graduate of Waynesburg High School and a 1930 graduate of Waynesburg College. Mrs. Henderson was a homemaker. On September 20, 1930, she married Lloyd R. Henderson, who died June 8, 1993. Surviving are two sons, Raymond S. Henderson of Rices Landing R.D.1 and Allen Henderson of Waynesburg R.D.4; three grandchildren, Sherry J., Brenda Ann and James Douglas Henderson; two stepgrandchildren, John Robert and Jerry Lee Michael; four stepgreat-grandchildren and one stepgreat-great-grandchild. She was the last of her immediate family. Deceased are three sisters, Ruth Spragg, and twins who died in infancy, Mary and Evelyn Spragg; and a brother, Gordon Spragg.
