Luretta L. Hess Mrs. Luretta L. Hess, 66, of 540 Ross Street, Morgantown, W. Va., a native of Mt. Morris, died Saturday evening, March 18, 1972, in her home. She was a daughter of the late Phineas and Winona Headlee Lemley and was born June 1, 1905 at Mt. Morris. Her husband, Clyude [sic] L. Hess, died in 1965. Mrs. Hess was a member of the Riverside Apostolic Church at Morgantown. Surviving are a daughter, Miss Betty Lou Hess, at home; a son, Clyde Jr., of Little Rock, Ark.; two brothers: James W. Lemley, of Morgantown, and Edward Lemley, of Mt. Morris; two sisters: Mrs. Keith (Mary) Mayfield, of Morgantown, and Mrs. Harold P. (Madelon) Minor, of Garards Fort; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Riverside Apostolic Church, Morgantown, with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris.
