Mrs. Nora Howard Funeral rites were held yesterday afternoon for Mrs. Nora Howard, aged 61, wife of Lindsey Howard, of Mt. Morris, who died at her home Saturday morning, August 12, at 1 o'clock. The services were in charge of Rev. H. E. McNeely, of Mapletown, and were held in the Howard home at 1:30. Interment was in the Lemley burying ground. Mrs. Howard was a daughter of George and Emily Headley Lemley, and spent all her life in Perry township. She was a member of the Shannon Run Methodist Episcopal church. Besides her husband she leaves the following children: Brady, Gleason, and Mrs. Hazel Renner, all of Mt. Morris, and Miss Edith Howard, at home. One sister and two brothers also survive, namely: Mrs. Albert Anderson, Phineas Lemley and Garland Lemley, all of Mt. Morris. Democrat Messenger, August 15, 1933 (Greene County, PA)
