GERTRUDE A. HUFFMAN, aged 81 years, of Waynesburg, R. D. 5, died at 8:10 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 1967, at her home following a long illness. She was born July 31, 1885, in Center Township, near Rogersville, to the late David and Mary Crouse McNeely. She was married October 14, 1909, to A. J. Huffman, Sr., who survives. Also surviving are two sons, George, of Waynesburg, R. D. 5, and A. J. Huffman, Jr., of Greensboro Star Route, Waynesburg; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Cox, of Waynesburg, R. D. 4, and Mrs. Ruth Richter, of Waynesburg, R. D. 5; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two brother, George, of Lagonda, and Marvin, of Martinsburg, W. Va., and a sister, Mrs. Marie Humble, of Waynesburg, R. D. 2. A son, Alvin Donnan, is deceased. She was a graduate of Waynesburg Business College in 1907 and before her marriage was employed by the Huffman and Rice Insurance Agency. All of her life was spent in the Waynesburg area where she was a member of the First Christian Church. She and her husband celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary in 1966.
