WILLIAM H. HUFFMAN DIED AT AGE OF 85

Waynesburg, March 6.--William H. Huffman, aged 85 years, prominent farmer and stock raiser of Jackson Township, died today in his home at Pine Bank, R.D.2, following an illness of about three months, of heart trouble.

Mr. Huffman spent his entire life in that section of Greene County. His wife, Jane Fordyce Huffman, died in 1927.

Two sisters survive; Mrs. Homer Fordyce of Hopewell, and Mrs. Hetty Mitchell of Jefferson. Also surviving is Miss Eliza Marriner, who had been his housekeeper for the last 4 years. Mrs. Fordyce and Mrs. Mitchell are the last of a family of nine children. Those who have died are John, George, Peter, Jesse, Mrs. Julia Mitchell and Mrs. Jane Fordyce.

Funeral services will be held in the home, Sunday, march 8 at 1 o'clock, in charge of the Rev. N. F. Schindler. Burial will be in the Oakmont Cemetery, Waynesburg.
