Mrs. Spencer Keener
Mrs. Elizabeth Keener, wife of Spencer Keener, of Perry township, died suddenly, April 16, aged about 60 years. Mrs. Keener had gone to the home of a neighbor, Mrs. George Lemley, who resided nearby, and while there was stricken with paralysis. She lived only a few hours. Mrs. Keener was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Headley. Her father was killed during the civil war. She was a member of the M. E. church and was an excellent christian woman. Beside her husband and mother she is survived by four children: Frank Keener, of Youngstown, Ohio; Russell, Sylvester and Miss Hazel Keener, all at home. One brother, Marion Headley, of Ohio, also survives. Waynesburg Republican, April 20, 1911 (Greene County, PA) |
