Albert Lemley
Albert Lemley, 80 years, of Mt. Morris, died Friday, February 22, 1963, in Greene County Memorial Hospital. He was a son of John A. and Sarah Headley Lemley and was born February 11, 1883, at Mt. Morris. He was a retired employee of the Carlo Gas Company and had worked as a pumper in the oil and gas fields of the Mt. Morris area. Mr. Lemley had also engaged in farming. He was affiliated with the Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Sadie Rush Lemley of Blissfield, Mich.; three daughters, Edith, wife of Hershel Gallatin, Deerfield, Mich.; Evelyn, wife of John Crawford of Toledo, Ohio, and Wilma Lemley of Adrian, Mich.; five sons, Clark Lemley of Ligonier, Ind.; John Lemley of Blissfield, Mich.; Albert Lemley of Riga, Mich.; Franklin Lemley of Taylorville, N. C.; and Kenneth Lemley of Riga, Mich.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Julie Conklin of Mt. Morris R. D. 1; and a twin brother, Wilbert Lemley of Kirby. One son, three sisters and three brothers are deceased. Funeral services were held Monday, conducted by Rev. John Duvall. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
