Miss Anna E. Lemley Funeral rites were held Sunday for Miss Anna Evelyn Lemley, aged 17, daughter of Marion and Lydia Hunter Lemley, of Perry Township, who died in the Lemley home on Hacklebander Run Friday morning, Feb. 1, 1935, at 9 o'clock following an extended illness due to heart trouble. Short services in the Lemley home were followed by rites in the Mt. Morris Baptist Church with Rev. W. C. Long in charge. Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Miss Lemley was born April 17, 1917, and was a member of the Shannon Run Methodist Episcopal Church. Besides her parents she leaves the following brothers and sisters: Olan, Marie, Leslie, and Doris, all at home. Democrat Messenger, February 5, 1935 (Greene County, PA)
