Clarence W. Lemley, Sr.
Clarence W. Lemley, Sr., 50, died in his home at 552 Lake street, Morgantown, of Wednesday, April 1, 1964, following a lengthy illness. Mr. Lemley was born June 30, 1913, in Mt. Morris, a son of the late Phineas and Ona Headley Lemley. He had been employed for several years at the West Virginia University physical plant in Morgantown. He was a member of the Riverside Apostolic Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary King Lemley, who was also formerly from Mt. Morris; one son, Clarence W. Lemley, Jr., of Core, W. Va., and one daughter, Betty, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Mayfield, of Morgantown, Mrs. Loretta Hess, of Westover, Mrs. Madelon Minor, of Garards Fort; two brothers, James of Morgantown and Edward, of Mt. Morris, and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 4, 1964, in the Riverside Apostolic Church, with Rev. Hayward Saffle officiating. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris.
