MRS. FRANK W. LEMLEY Mrs. Elizabeth S. Lemley, 74, wife of Frank W. Lemley, of Mt. Morris R. D. 1, died at 3:45 a.m., Tuesday, March 18, 1952, in Greene County Memorial Hospital after a prolonged illness. Mrs. Lemley was born August 28, 1877 in West Virginia, a daughter of William Shultz and Elizabeth Keener Shultz, both deceased. Most of her life was spent in Greene County. She was a member of the Claughton Chapel Methodist Church. Besides her husband she leaves two sons, Evans Lemley of Core, W. Va., and Omar Lemley of Mt. Morris. Two children are deceased. Also surviving are six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, three sisters, Mrs. Demie Strosnider of Waynesburg, Mrs. Verona Shriver of Jefferson, Mrs. Ocie Chapman of Waynesburg, and two brothers, Columbus Shultz and Vint Shultz, both of Waynesburg R. D. 3. LEMLEY - Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth S. Lemley of Mt. Morris, who died Tuesday, March 18, 1952, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at the Claughton Chapel Methodist Church in charge of the Rev. Ernest McNeely and the Rev. Norman Young. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Friends are being received at the George I. Church Funeral Home in Waynesburg until noon Thursday. Democrat Messenger, March 19, 1952 (Greene County, PA)
