Frank W. Lemley, 90, of Mt. Morris R.D. 1, died at 8:15 a.m. Monday, July 7, 1969, at
Greene County Memorial Hospital. He had not been in the best of health for the past
several months.
He was born February 20, 1879, in Perry Township near Mt. Morris, a son of the late Harvey and Frances Jane Evans Lemley. His first wife, Elizabeth Shultz Lemley, died March 18, 1952. His second wife, the former Gertrude Moore Lockhart survives. All of his life was spent in the Shannon Run area. He was a member of the Shannon Run Methodist Church, a retired employee of Carnegie Natural Gas Company and in early life was employed in the oil fields of the Hope Natural Gas Company. He was also a farmer and stock raiser. Surviving are two sons, Evans S. of Core, W. Va. and Omar F. of Mt. Morris R.D. 1; a step-daughter, Mrs. Charles (Elizabeth) Tustin, of Waynesburg, R.D. 4; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Ethel Rose, of Core W. Va.
