Kinsey Lemley, aged 53, well-known Perry Township farmer, died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday,
Jan. 7, 1934 at his home about a mile below Mt. Morris, near the state line. He had been
ill for two years, suffering from a complication of ailments.
A son of David and Pernina Hartley Lemley, he was born and spent all his life in the Mt. Morris district, where he was widely known. He was never married. Mr. Lemley was united with the Mt. Morris Methodist Episcopal church under the ministry of Rev. Mr. Echols. He is survived by one brother, Ross Lemley, of near Mt. Morris. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon. Short services will be held at the Lemley home at 1 o'clock, fololowed by further rites at 2 o'clock in the Mt. Morris M. E. church. The services will be in charge of his pastor, Rev. T. Homer Smith.
