PHINEAS H. LEMLEY Phineas H. Lemley, 81, of Mount Morris, died at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 1957, in the Morgantown General Hospital, Morgantown, W. Va. He was born March 8, 1876 near Mount Morris, Greene County, a son of the late George and Emily Headlee Lemley. His wife, Winona Headlee Lemley, preceded him in death in 1934. A member of the Assembly of God Church at Mount Morris, he as a resident of that community for his entire life. He is survived by three sons: Edward Lemley of Mount Morris, and Clarence and James W. Lemley, both of Morgantown, W> Va.; three daughters, Mrs. Luretta Hess and Mrs. Mary Mayfield, both of Morgantown, and Mrs. Madelon Minor of Garards Fort; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Garland of Mount Morris; ans one sister, Mrs. Ella Anderson, also of Mount Morris. LEMLEY - Friends of Phineas H. Lemley of Mount Morris, who died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 1957, are being received at the Dering Funeral Home of Morgantown, W. Va. Funeral services in charge of Rev. W. C. Long will be held at 3 p.m. today in the Assembly of God Church, Mt. Morris. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mount Morris. Democrat Messenger, November 14, 1957 (Greene County, PA)
