MRS. JOHN LEMLEY, OF PERRY TOWNSHIP, DIES
WAYNESBURG, Feb. 11. - Mrs. Abigail Lemley, aged 80 years, a lifelong resident of Perry Township, died this morningat her home on Shannon Run. She was the widow of John Lemley, whose death occurred in 1930. Mrs. Lemley was a daughter of John and Rebecca Headley Connor and was born March 8, 1854 on the same farm where she lived at the time of her death. She was the last member of her family. She is survived by the following children: Marion Lemley, Albert lemeley, Mrs, Francis Conklin, Sanford Lemley and Mrs. John Hartley, all of Mt. Morris; Mrs. Myra Cooper, McKeesport, and Wilbert Lemley, Kirby. One daughter, Rachel, died seven years ago. Mrs. Lemley was a member of the Shannon Run Methodist Episcopal Church. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon, February 13. Short services will be held at the Lemley home at 1 o'clock with further services in the Mt. Morris Baptist Church. Lemley Funeral To Be Held Wednesday Funeral services for Sarah A. Lemley, Perry Township, who died at he home at 6:15 a.m. Thursday, will be held tomorrow at the house at 1:30 with further services at the Baptist Church in Mt. Morris in charge of Rev. Frederick Speilman. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Lemley was born March 8, 1854, and was aged 80 years, 11 months and 3 days. She was the daughter of John and Rebecca Connor Headlee. She was a member of the Shannon Run M. E. Church all her life and was born and reared in Perry Townshipand was prominent in community work. On September 3, 1871, she was married to John Lemley who died in 1930. To this union the following children were born: Marion Lemley, Mt. Morris, R.D.; Mrs. Almira Cooper, Mt. Morris; Sanford Lemley, Mt. Morris; twin daughters Rachel, deceased and Rebecca, Mt. Morris, R.D.;twin sons, Albert, Mt. Morris, and Wilbert, Kirby; Lewis Lemley, of Mt.
