MRS. NEWTON LEMLEY Mrs. Newton Lemley died at her home in Perry township, Thursday, October 27, aged 65 years, after a ten days' illness from a complication of diseases. Mrs. Lemley was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Delaney, of Franklin township. She was a member of the Methodist Protestant church and was highly esteemed. Beside her husband she is survived by two children, Mrs. Clara Core, of Core, W. Va., and Leslie Lemley, of Mt. Morris, R. D. 2. Three brothers and one sister survive: A. L. Delaney, of Mt. Morris, R. D. 1; Eli Delaney of St. Leo, W. Va.; Samuel Delaney, of Smith Creek, and Mrs. Joseph Headley, of Mt. Morris. The funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 3:00 in the Baptist church at Mt. Morris. Interment in Cedar Grove cemetery. Waynesburg Republican, November 3, 1921 (Greene County, PA)
