Thelma M. Lemley

Member of Olive United Methodist Church

Thelma M. Stewart Lemley, 91, of Pentress, W.Va., died Thursday, July 1, 1999, in Monongalia General Hospital.

She was born May 20, 1908, in Pentress, a daughter of Rutherford B. H. and Sada Fox Stewart.

Mrs. Lemley was a member of Olive United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a son, Eugene Lemley of Mt. Morris; a daughter, Virginia L. Ammons of Pentress; a sister, Wilma C. Shafer of Pentress; five grandchildren, Linda Harvey, Mike and Doug Ammons and Robert Eugene and Earl Andrew Lemley; and eight great-grandchildren.

Deceased are her husband, Evans S. Lemley, who died November 1, 1994; and two brothers, Ralph Stewart and Hayes Stewart.


LEMLEY - Friends of Thelma M. Stewart Lemley of Pentress, W.Va., who died Thursday, July 1, 1999, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday in Owen-Neely Funeral Home, Blacksville, W.Va., and from noon to 1 p.m. Sunday, July 4, the time of service, in Olive United Methodist Church, with the Rev. David Lancaster and the Rev. Fred Tomlinson officiating. Interment will follow in Olive Cemetery.
