Funeral rites for Wray Taylor Lemley, aged 14 years and 11 months, who died Sunday,
Nov. 4, 1934, at his home near Kirby, will be conducted Wednesday afternoon with short
services at home at 1 p.m. and further services at the Kirby M. E. Church. The rites
will be in charge of Rev. Frederick Spielman, church pastor, assisted by Rev. Morris L.
Husted, of Star Junction and Rev. H. E. McNeely, of West Alexander. Interment will be in
Claughton Chapel Cemetery.
The deceased was born December 4, 1919, in Whiteley Township, the son of Wilbert and Rosie Fox Lemley. He was an outstanding scholar in Mt. Morris High School and was on the school honor roll. He also received his second year bar for a two-year perfect attendance record at Sunday School. Surviving are his parents, grandparents, and one brother, Earnest.
