MRS. WINIFRED C. LEONARD Mrs. Winifred Crouse Leonard, 74, wife of William Leonard, of Sycamore, R. D. 1, died at the Greene County Memorial Hospital Wednesday, August 23, 1950, at 10:40 a.m., after an illness of seven months. Mrs. Leonard was born in Franklin Township on Jan. 16, 1876, the daughter of the late Enos and Mary Elizabeth Crouse. She was married to her husband in 1905. A member of the Rogersville Christian Church, Mrs. Leonard had lived most of her life in Greene County. Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Miss Katherine Leonard; two grandsons, Alfred and Donald Tedrow, all at home; two brothers, Frederick Crouse of Holbrook and A. Y. Crouse of Rogersville. Two daughters are deceased. LEONARD - Funeral services for Mrs. Winifred Crouse Leonard, of Sycamore R. D. 1, who died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 1950, will be held Friday, Aug. 25, at 2 p.m. at the Scott Funeral Home in Rogersville with the Rev. Kenneth G. Coggon officiating. Friends received at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in the Rosemont Cemetery, Rogersville. Democrat Messenger, August 24, 1950 (Greene County, PA)
