Mrs. Louisa J. Martin, 78, wife of Moses Martin, died Tuesday, April 4, at her home near Blacksville, W. Va. following an illness due to infirmities incident to advanced years. She was a daughter of John T. Headley and Elizabeth Dulaney Headley, and was well-known in the Blacksville community, having spent the greater part of her life there. She was a member of the Methodist church for the past 64 years. She also was the founder of the Blacksville Social Club and president of the club from the time of its organization until her death. Besides her husband she leaves a son, John Robert Martin of Blacksville, W. Va., and one brother, Reason Headley, of Parkersburg, W. Va. There are four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon and were in charge of Rev. J. F. Hockenberry. Interment was in the Blacksville cemetery.
