Mrs. Madolyn Ewart Martin
Mrs. Madolyn Ewart Martin, aged 18 years, wife of Earl Martin of Sycamore, died Monday, June 11, 1928, at 11 a.m., in the Waynesburg hospital. Mrs. Martin was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Ewart, of Pittsburgh, and was born March 7, 1910, in Canton, Ohio, where she spent the greater part of her life. For the past three or four years she had lived in Pittsburgh and Greene county. Besides her parents and husband, she leaves an infant son, Donley Albert, and four brothers and four sisters, namely: Mary, who is arried and resides in Canton, Ohio; Roy Ewart, of Pittsburgh; Donley Ewart, of Pittsburgh; Evelyn, Bernice, Pearl, albert and Arthur Ewart, all at home. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home of Samuel Martin at Sycamore. The services were conducted by Rev. Paul Brown, of Waynesburg, pastor of the Bates Fork Baptist church at Sycamore. Interment was in Oakmont cemetery, Waynesburg. Democrat Messenger, June 15, 1928 (Greene County, PA) |
