Mrs. Sadie A. Martin
Mrs. Sadie A. Martin, aged 63, wife of Samuel D. Martin, of Morris township, died MOnday afternoon, March 11, 1929, at her home on the Waynesburg-Ninevah road. She had been ill for five weeks, death being due to a complication of ailments. Mrs. Martin was a daughter of Samuel J. and Lizzie BBoyd Graham, and was a member of the Bates Fork Baptist church at Sycamore. Besides her husband she leaves two sons and two daughters, namely: Otto Martin, of Waynesburg; Earl Martin, at home; Mrs. Gladys Dietrick, of Rogersville, and Mrs. Bernice Lewis, of Sycamore. There also survive, five grandchildren; one brother, J. D. Graham, of Omaha, Neb.; one half-brother, G. E. P. Graham, of Waynesburg, R. D. 4, and her step-mother, Mrs. Sarah A. Graham, of Waynesburg. Funeral services were held at the Martin home at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. Paul Brown, pastor of the Bates Fork Baptist church.
