Alice L. Fox Masters, 75, of Mt. Morris R.D. 1 died at 9:30 p.m. Wed., Aug. 24, 1988, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W. Va., after being seriously ill for the past several weeks.
She was born July 12, 1913, in Perry Township, a daughter of Ednie I. Fox. With the exception of 25 years in Clairton, her life was spent in Greene County. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Mt. Morris and the Women's Missionary Circle of the Church. A housewife, she was also a member of the Kewystone Senior Citizens in Waynesburg. Her husband, Robert P. Masters, died May 25, 1965. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Nowaczynski of Mt. Morris R.D. 1 and Mrs. Herbert (Cynthia) Hamilton of Daybrook, W. Va.; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Thelma Walters Lemley Anderson of Ocala, Florida. Deceased are a daughter, Esther Salka, and two brothers, Willis and Delbert Walters.
