Wadsworth, Ohio - Hugh M. Masters, 59, of 731 State Street, Wadsworth, Ohio, died Friday, November 16, 1979, after an extended illness. He was born at Garards Fort, Pa., and resided in Wadsworth for the last 37 years. He is survived by his wife, Elsie P. (Johnson) Masters of Wadsworth. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Navy, and was a retired mechanic for Autsin G. M. C. Company. He is also survived by a son, Hugh S. Masters; a daughter, Mrs. Pete (Marsha) Grimm, of Wadsworth, Ohio; a brother, Paul Masters of Akron, ohio; a sister, Miss Lucille Masters of New York City, N. Y.; and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, in the Hilliard-Cox Funeral Home at 174 North Lyman Street, Wadsworth, Ohio, with the Rev. Philip L. Gould officiating. Interment was in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family requests that donations be made to the Diabetes Association. Newspaper obituary, date and source unknown (Greene County, PA)
