Phoebe Lucille Masters, 68, of Stuart, Florida, died Saturday, June 2, 2001, in her home.
She was born in Garards Fort and had been a resident of Stuart for two years, moving there from New York, N.Y. Prior to retirement, she was a registered nurse for the Veterans Hospital in New York for more than 40 years. Miss Masters was a member of John Corbley Memorial Baptist Church in Garards Fort. Surviving are a brother, Paul Masters of Akron, Ohio, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Deceased are two brothers, Hugh Masters and an infant brother. A memorial service and interment will be held in Garards Fort at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to John Corbley Memorial Baptist Church, Garards Fort, Pa 15334 or American Heart Ass. 1111 S. Federal Highway Ste 110, Stuart, Florida 34994. Arrangements are under the direction of Aycock Funeral Home, Stuart, Pa.
