WAYNESBURG - Goldie Pethtel Milliken, 91, of 355 N. West Street, Waynesburg, died Sunday,
March 30, 1980, at 1:45 p.m. at her home. The cause of death was a heart attack.
She was born March 11, 1889, at Jackson Township, Greene COunty, the daughter of the late Morris L. and Olive Kiger Pethtel. Her husband, H. E. Milliken, died in 1961. She was the last surviving member of her family. She was a member of the Washington Street United Methodist Church, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Pleasant Hour Club, the Library Club and the D. A. C. She was also a member of the Auxiliary of the Greene County Memorial Hospital and the Greene County Historical Society. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Sylvia M. Blair of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a son, Kenneth P. Milliken of Waynesburg; seven grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Marjorie Milliken, two brothers, Charles M.
