Harold Minor
Harold P. Minor, 87, of Garards Fort, died at 5:45 a.m. Friday, December 26, 1986, in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W. Va., following a long illness. He was born June 4, 1899, in Garards Fort, a son of the late Raymer and Amy Dunham Minor. He lived most of his life in the Garards Fort area. He was a member of the Sugar Grove Baptist Church, and was a dacon of the church. He was a farmer and was employed by the state Department of Highways as a machine operator. He also worked for various contractors in the tri-state area. He is survived by his wife, Madelon Lemley Minor, whom he married July 13, 1939; a brother, Laurence M. Minor of Dodge City, Kan.; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, Edwin J. Minor and Charles D. Minor. Newspaper obituary, date and source unknown (Greene County, PA) |
