LeMoyne Minor LeMoyne (Moine) Minor, 96, of Waynesburg, R. D. 2, died at 8:15 p.m. Friday, March 7, 1986, in Rhea's Nursing Home, following a short illness. He was born March 27, 1889, in Garards Fort, son of Friend and Belle Minor. A life-long resident of Greene County, he was a farmer and stock-raiser, and a member of the John Corbly Memorial Baptist Church in Garards Fort. His first wife, Stella Cowell Minor, died in 1942 and his second wife, Florence Iams Minor, died in 1971. He is survived by his third wife, Ruth Shultz Minor, whom he married November 9, 1972. Surviving are a son, Robert L. Minor of Washington; two grandchildren, Scott A. Minor of Washington and Mark R. Minor of Virginia Beach, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Marie) Black of Garards Fort and Mrs. Joseph (Hazel) Bott of Charlerio; a brother, Reuben Minor of Morristown, Tenn., and several stepchildren and step-grandchildren. Deceased are two brothers, Ed and Jesse, and five sisters, Nellie, Mary, Ruth, Eulalia and Toy Cree. Newspaper obituary, date and source unknown (Greene County, PA)
