Ruth Minor

Ruth Shultz Minor, 93, of Waynesburg R. D. 2, died at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 21, 1986, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, following a short illness.

She was born February 25, 1893, in Whiteley Township, a daughter of the late Milton and Carrie Zimmerman Morris.

She lived her entire life in Greene County. She was a farmer and stock raiser and supporter of the Waynesburg wrestling program.

She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church at Gordon Hill, a trustee of the church, and member of the Whiteley Township Farm Women.

Her first husband, Jesse L. Shultz, died July 18, 1957. Her second husband, LeMoyne Minor, died March 7, 1986.

She is survived by a daughter, Virginia Patton of Waynesburg R. D. 2; a granddaughter, Mrs. Charles (Linda) Henderson of Waynesburg R. D. 2; a grandson, William L. Patton of Waynesburg R. D. 3; four great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Kenneth Morris of Greensboro Star Route.

Deceased are a great-great-granddaughter, Renee Patton; two brothers, Ross and Harold Morris; and a sister, Emily Rose.
