CHARLES W. MITCHELL Charles W. (Fritz) Mitchell, 59, of Rogersville, died unexpectedly at 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 1, 1966, in the Greene County Memorial Hospital. He was born June 10, 1907, in Center Township, a son of the late Wesley and Grace Johnson Mitchell. On Jan. 21, 1928, he married Mary Fordyce, who survives. Mr. Mitchell resided all his life in Center Township where he was affiliated with the Rogersville Methodist Church. His last employment was with the Center Township Road Board having been disabled the last 10 years. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three sons, Donald, of Somerset, Melvin, of Hundred, W. Va., and Harold, of Waynesburg; one daughter Grace, wife of Charles Katchmark, of Waynesburg; 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Bessie, wife of Robert Ely, of Washington, and Leota, wife of Shirl Gray, of Waynesburg, and one brother, Fred, of Houston. One son Wesley died in 1951. Services were held Monday with burial in Rosemont Cemetery. Newspaper obituary, date and source unknown (Greene County, PA)
