Sylvia Mae Fordyce Moore Sylvia Mae Fordyce Moore, 69, of Sherrard, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1993 at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Jesse and Elsie Gadd Fordyce, and a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. She was a retired employee of the West Virginia Garment Factory. She was preceded in death by four brothers. Surviving are her husband, Harold B. Moore; one son, Harold C. Moore of Sherrard; two daughters, Sara Kiger of Sherrard and Vera Matthews of Middlebourne; two brothers, Jess Fordyce of East Liverpool, Ohio and Marion Fordyce of Phoenix, Ariz.; three sisters, Edna Fluharty and Pauline Fluharty, both of Fairmont and Jean Swoyer of Benwood; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 16 at the Kepner Funeral Home, Elm Grove, Wheeling. Interment followed in the Mount Olivet Cemetery.
