Roscoe B. Morris, 95, of 1003 East Unaka Avenue, Johnson City, Tenn., formerly of Greene
County, died Monday, October 8, 1990, in Anderson Health Care Center, Johnson City, following
a lengthy illness.
He was a son of Jacob J. and Anna Clendenning Morris. Mr. Morris was a native of Holbrook, and lived in johnson City since 1981. He was a member of the Unaka Church of Christ in Johnson City, and was active with the Johnson City Senior Citizens Musical Voices. Mr. Morris was a farmer for 48 years. He worked for 20 years with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. He also was a brick mason. Mr. Morris was a member and past master of East Franklin Grange in Waynesburg. His wife, Edna Orndoff Morris, died in 1976. He is survived by a daughter, Lorene M. Erwin of Johnson City; a granddaughter, Dona Mae Onks of Beaufort, S. C.; a sister, Alene Stockdale of Rogersville; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a daughter, three brothers and a sister.
