Mrs. Clara E. Nichols Mrs. Clara E. Nichols, aged 32 years, died Saturday morning shortly after midnight at the home of her father, Jacob K. Headlee, of Mt. Morris, R. D. 1. Mrs. Nichols had been ill of a complication of diseases for the past year. Her husband, Edward Nichols, died three years ago. She was a member of the M. E. church. The following brothers and sisters are living: P. L. Headlee, of Brock; Mrs. McClelland Keener, of Brave; Mrs. Lazella Blaker, of West Amity; Mrs. A. J. Whitehill, of Brave; Mrs. George Eddy, Statlers Run, W. Va.; Mrs. Ross Headlee, of Mt. Morris R. D. 1; Mrs. Charles Minor, of Mt. Morris R. D. 1; Miss Lulu Headlee, at home. The funeral was held Monday forenoon. The relatives and friends met at the Headlee home at 10 o'clock, going from there to the Fairall church where the services were conducted by the Rev. G. A. Federer. Interment in the Fairall cemetery. Democrat Messenger, December 14, 1917 (Greene County, PA)
