Mrs. Bessie Orndoff Mrs Bessie Orndoff, 87, of Waynesburg, R. D. 5, (Hargus Creek) died at 10:30 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 1971, in Greene County Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She was born October 24, 1883, in Center Township, a daughter of William and Eliza Mitchell Orndoff. She was married August 15, 1908, to E. G. Orndoff, who died February 20, 1967. Mrs. Orndoff resided most of her life in Center Township, and was a member of the Willow Grove Independent Baptist Church. Surviving are one son, T. H. Orndoff, of Waynesburg, R. D. 5; three grandchildren; two brothers: A. B. Orndoff, of Waynesburg, R. D. 5, and William W. Orndoff, of Washington, and two sisters: Miss Dorcas Orndoff, of Waynesburg R. D. 5 and Mrs. Charles W. (Grace) Orndoff, of Waynesburg. Funeral services were held. Newspaper obituary, date and source unknown (Greene County, PA)
