Arthur L. Patterson Coen Oil retiree Arthur L. "Pat" Patterson, 79, of New Freeport R.D.1 (Jollytown Community), died Tuesday, October 5, 1999, in Washington Hospital. He was born June 15, 1920, in Oak Forest, a son of Hallie W. and Elizabeth Cole Patterson. He retired from Coen Oil Co., Washington, where he worked as a gasoline truck driver. Mr. Patterson was a member of Pursley Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Martha Eakin Patterson; two sons, Robert R. Patterson of Morgantown, W.Va., and William A. Patterson of Wadestown, W.Va.; three daughters, Patricia Raber and Jody Wilson, both of Jollytown, and Cathy Patterson of Ruff Creek; nine grandchildren, Patrick and Robert Kennedy, Douglas and Bambi Robinson, Daniel and Austin Patterson, and Zackary, Patrick and Kourtney Wilson; and a great-granddaughter. Deceased are a brother, William A. Patterson; and a sister, Geraldine Hartley. PATTERSON - Friends of Arthur L. "Pat" Patterson of New Freeport R.D.1 (Jollytown Community), who died Tuesday, October 5, 1999, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Owen-Neely Funeral Home, Blacksville, W.Va., where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 7, with the Rev.
